Ian joined the SimonCRE team in 2021 as a Development Associate and was promoted to Senior Development Associate in 2023. In this position, he assists the CEO and VP of Development in achieving approval of all entitlements and approved plans for projects.

Before that, he was an intern at Commercial Retail Advisors in Tucson, Arizona, where he assisted in streamlining the process of over 50 commercial real estate transactions and interfaced with clients regarding the sale of company assets. Ian also conducted research on and marketed available properties for lease or sale in the Tucson, Vail, Marana, and Oro Valley areas. Ian, being born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, decided to attend the University of Arizona, where he studied Urban and Regional Development. In addition to his studies, he was a part of several different clubs, including being the vice president of the sports analytics club.

In his spare time, Ian loves playing golf, watching every sports team from the Arizona and Boston area, and playing with his dogs, Kona and Lucy. He also has a very deep interest in the music industry and enjoys playing the drums whenever he gets the chance.
