Josh Schripsema joined SimonCRE in 2020 as a Development Associate. Working closely with the development team, he provides coordination between consultants, municipalities, and other team members, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. He plays a vital role in the daily planning and processing required to successfully drive projects from inception to completion.
Since 2014, Josh has had the opportunity to work with many development teams as an analyst, associate, and consultant, while impacting the commercial development process by offering clients and principals access to concise research, relevant market analysis, and a passion for digging deep into the planning and entitlement process. With a focus on the management of time, money, people and process, Josh has provided development services for numerous multifamily, interim use, mixed use, and affordable housing projects.
Josh graduated from Arizona State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and subsequently completed a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) at ASU’s W.P Carey School of Business.
A resident of Arizona since 2001, Josh moved from the high desert of Albuquerque, New Mexico to the Valley of the Sun, where he lives with his wife, Danyale and their two children. In his spare time, Josh enjoys hiking with his family, eating great food with great people, coaching baseball, mountaineering, golfing, and travel.
