As a Partner at SimonCRE, Jeff Carpenter is responsible for sourcing opportunities in both ground up development and through the acquisition of value add assets. Jeff has successfully completed projects across the country and has been an integral part of the exponential growth SimonCRE has experienced since he joined. Always knowing he had a passion for real estate from a young age, Jeff got his start in commercial real estate in 2007 while still an undergraduate at Arizona State University. He worked in brokerage and then for a national shopping center developer prior to joining SimonCRE in 2015.
Jeff is an active member of several organizations including International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Young Leaders Group, and Aji Network. In 2021, he was recognized as a GlobeSt “Retail Influencer.” More recently, in 2022, he was nominated by his fellow ICSC members and trustees to the 2022-2024 ICSC Next Generation Leadership Network (NGLN). He obtained his Bachelor’s in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Jeff has trouble sitting still for extended periods of time so he tries to stay active when not in the office by traveling, playing golf, hiking, mountain biking, and cycling.
