Amber King serves as the Vice President of Operations and Asset Management at SimonCRE. Since joining the firm in 2021, Amber has been a driving force behind the company’s operational evolution, leading to her promotion to VP in 2025.
In her current role, Amber’s leadership extends beyond traditional asset management. She oversees the Marketing department and acts as a key strategic partner to IT, ensuring technology and brand align with operational goals. Most notably, Amber was instrumental in modernizing the firm’s workflow by spearheading the company-wide migration to ClickUp, streamlining project management across all teams. She also shifted the organization’s performance culture by implementing the “Wildly Important Goal” (WIG) framework company-wide, successfully aligning diverse departments behind a single, unified vision.
Amber brings over 20 years of commercial real estate expertise to the table. Prior to SimonCRE, she spent three years at Carvana, where she played an essential role in onboarding over 150 properties and built a team of 10. She previously managed over 2 million square feet of retail assets at Vestar Development Company.
Amber’s operational skills are put to the test at home, where she manages a full house consisting of her two children, five cats, and four German Shepherds. A true homebody, she enjoys the energy of a busy home but always finds time to unwind with a book, a puzzle, or by challenging her husband to a Mario Kart race. She is a devout Nintendo Switch player—a hobby she pursues religiously, much to the amusement of her office team.
