The Senior Accountant is responsible for the timely preparation of month-end and year-end financial reporting. This individual must possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and accurately maintain the general ledger for multiple companies simultaneously.

- Maintain the general ledger for multiple companies daily, making journal entries when appropriate
- Perform daily banking including deposits, wires, and transfers
- Ensure the accuracy of vendor W-9’s as received
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Assist with the reconciliation of mortgage balances
- Participate in NNN billing and reconciliation processes
- Pay monthly TPT for all rental properties
- Apply or renew for new TPT licenses as needed
- Reconcile due to/from accounts monthly
- Prepare and report monthly management fees
- Process monthly investor payments
- Send Financial Packets to investors monthly
- Assemble month-end and year-end financial reports
- Prepare and distribute 1099’s for all entities annually
- Audit property tax prorations if calculated on an estimated amount for sold properties
- Support weekly check runs including urgent checks

Required Education, Experience, Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial real estate or construction preferred
- Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial property management accounting preferred
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Yardi preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required
- Experience with Mac iOS is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
