Director of Operations

The Director of Operations ensures that the Company has the proper staff and operational controls in place to effectively grow the organization, maximize efficiencies, and ensure profitable operations.  This individual will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our organization.  The Director of Operations offers an exciting opportunity to lead operational initiatives, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across multiple departments while mirroring our mission and core values.

  • Working with all departments for maximum performance aligning with our core values.
  • Lead the development and integration of New Processes & Systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Review and optimize the operational framework to support organizational growth and success.
  • Facilitate onboarding & training and employee reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Address team operations concerns promptly and effectively, fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Communicate the company’s standard operating procedure (SOP) creation process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and efficiency for each department’s operating protocols and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Staffing and HR Services to ensure we are meeting operational needs and supporting team development
  • Responsible for facilitating workflow and process issues as they arise in a proactive and timely manner. 
  • Review policy changes to ensure compliance and effectiveness. 
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of all processes, internal and external, providing insights to the CEO.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as required by the CEO to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately. 
  • Excellent emotional intelligence that comes with managing a team of approximately 40.  
  • Financial understanding to allow for advanced conversations on modeling, cash flow analysis, and business planning.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.  
  • Experience in commercial real estate management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software applications
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and managing processes that result in increased productivity, efficiencies, and on-budget performance. 
  • Part of a leadership team in the past is a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities– This role does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities; however, it plays a crucial part in facilitating seamless operations across all departments.

Travel Required- Occasional travel within the US is required. 

Required Education, Experience, Licenses

  • Four-year college degree, and additional education (MBA, etc.) is a plus
  • Other accreditations like Series 7 are a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel as well as calendar management and general technology is required
  • Experience with Mac iOS is a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License
