Brett Budde joined SimonCRE in 2025 as a Development Associate. In this role, he assists the Development Project Managers in achieving approval of all entitlements and approval of plans for projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Brett has had extensive experience in the industry with positions in Development and Investment Sales. He attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated from the Neeley School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, with a Commercial Real Estate Concentration. During his time at TCU, he was able to gain valuable insights into single-tenant net lease development through an Acquisitions Analyst role at Vaquero Ventures. After graduating, he began his career in Dallas, TX, as an Investment Sales Broker for Marcus & Millichap, where he specialized in the acquisition and disposition of retail, office, and redevelopment projects, closing 26 transactions in his time there.

Originally from Phoenix, Brett decided to make his way back to Arizona to further his professional experience in retail development.

Outside of work, Brett enjoys staying active by hiking, golfing, playing slow-pitch softball, and traveling. He is also an avid supporter of his favorite sports teams, the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns, and Green Bay Packers.
