Gary joined SimonCRE in 2025 as Corporate Counsel, where he is responsible for providing legal support and expertise in commercial real estate transactions, with a primary focus on leasing matters.

Over the course of his career, Gary has built a reputation as an experienced and knowledgeable commercial real estate attorney. Gary’s expertise encompasses many facets of commercial real estate law, including review and negotiation of countless leases and purchase and sale agreements spanning the real estate sector.

His previous roles include serving as counsel for a closely-held real-estate business in New York specializing in the ownership and management of office buildings, a publicly traded hospitality company and a publicly traded REIT in the mall sector. He has also practiced commercial real estate law with Mariscal Weeks et al., Dickinson Wright, and Clark Hill.  He spent the beginning of his career at Deloitte in New York City working in the auditing group. Originally from Plainview, NY, Gary moved to Arizona in 2005 with his wife and son (now 2 sons) for a sunnier way of life.  Gary has a B.S. in Accounting from the University at Albany, a M.P.P.M. from Yale University and a J.D. from Fordham University.
