The Attorney is responsible for providing legal support and expertise in commercial real estate transactions, with a primary focus on leasing matters. The attorney is also tasked with managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and proactively identifying and resolving legal issues to protect the organization’s interests. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

- Preparing and reviewing commercial real estate documents for purchase, lease, and sales
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial lease agreements, including retail and ground leases.
- Reviewing due diligence for title, survey, and development documents
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including property managers, tenants, brokers, and other legal professionals
- Responding to 3rd party inquiries regarding legal issues
- Assist in managing litigation
- Negotiating documents and terms with 3rd party legal counsel
- Making decisions of legal documents and terms
- Supporting and working with team on development projects
- Maintaining knowledge of organization’s operations and legal documents
- Promulgating and creating directives of corporate acts and decisions
- Conducting legal research
- Preserving all corporate records
- Assist in developing and updating leasing templates and standard practices

- Experience working with national tenants.
- Exposure to a variety of leasing types (retail, office, industrial, etc.).

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Required Education, Experience, Licenses
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in Arizona.
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with substantial leasing experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial leasing practices, real estate law, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex lease agreements and related documents.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Mac iOS is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License.
